Indy airport + Chartres + Arrival in Saint-Brieuc

Thank you to all who came to the airport for a last goodbye. Amanda and I really enjoyed seeing you again. We safely landed in Paris after our 8-hour flight. We got on a private coach bus which first took us to Chartres for lunch. Chartres is a small town, about one hour away from Paris, known for its magnificent 12th-century cathedral. We had a picnic in the gardens behind the cathedral around noon, did some sightseeing before getting back onto the bus for another 4 hours. We arrived in rainy Saint-Brieuc, exhausted, around 6:00pm last night. All the host families came to pick up the students who were tired but incredibly happy and excited. They're taking a day off to sleep and get adjusted today. Don't forget to scroll down for the pictures! :)
